Event Summary:
On 27th March 2025, Sarhad Law School celebrated the grand finale of its much-awaited annual gathering – Sadyojata 2.0. The name “Sadyojata,” meaning Newly born, symbolizes fresh starts and new energy, which truly reflected in the spirit of the event.
The program commenced at 11:30 a.m with the arrival of the esteemed guests, followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, invoking positivity and auspiciousness. The dignitaries were then honoured in the felicitation ceremony in recognition of their valuable presence.
Cultural Performances:
The day was packed with a variety of cultural performances that showcased the exceptional talents of the students:
- The event opened with a Gondhal (गोंधळ) performance, a devotional folk art of Maharashtra, dedicated to the Goddess. The spiritual and powerful presentation captivated both the audience and the guests.
- Students then presented solo dances and songs, expressing a wide range of emotions and artistic styles.
- A high-energy Koli dance, representing the vibrant culture of Maharashtra’s fishing community, brought infectious enthusiasm to the stage.
- A comedy dance added humour and entertainment, while a deeply moving Shetkari (farmer) play/drama left the audience emotionally touched.
- Second-year students surprised everyone with a special group dance performance.
- The event also featured shayaris and more musical performances, which kept the audience thoroughly engaged.
The guests departed at 12:45 p.m, expressing sincere appreciation for the students' creativity, effort, and dedication.
Grand Finale & Closing:
Before concluding, the senior-most students brought the energy to its peak with a power-packed performance on the popular Marathi song “Zingaat”. Their lively act left the crowd cheering and dancing in excitement.
Principal Ms. S. R. Khaladkar madam expressed heartfelt appreciation for all the students who participated and showcased their unique talents during the cultural days. She emphasized that every student holds a special spark within them, and the true purpose of organizing such events was to help them discover and express their inner potential. Through dance, music, drama, and art, students not only entertained but also connected with their passions. Khaladkar madam proudly stated that watching each student shine in their own way was a deeply fulfilling experience, and she encouraged everyone to continue embracing and nurturing their talents beyond the stage. Finally, the day ended on a delightful note with refreshments for all, wrapping up Sadyojata 2.0 with joy, laughter, and cherished memories.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Hon’ble Kaushal Sir, who warmly appreciated the efforts of every student, teacher, and organizer. He expressed deep pride in the dedication and passion shown by all, and shared how the event had truly touched hearts and created lasting memories. His words reflected genuine gratitude and marked a beautiful end to an unforgettable celebration.
The final day of Sadyojata 2.0 was a vibrant celebration of talent, tradition, and togetherness. It was a day filled with fun, cultural richness, and unforgettable moments — setting high expectations for the years to come.
